He is survived by: his close friend Lisa Stokes-Layman; his daughter Michele Layman; his sister Patricia Conley (James); and his stepdaughters, Brenda Handley, Tammie Brown, Miranda Vaughn (Philip) and Rebekka Lorens (Josh). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
