She was predeceased by : her grandparents, James and Estelle Hunnicutt; her parents, Lucille Thompson, and Emmett Thompson, Sr.; her son William Farran; and her son-in-law Chad Taylor (Lance Corporal Jeffery Walker).
She is survived by : her husband James "Don" Walker; and her children, James Donnie Walker, Jr. (Wendy) of Missouri, Dorothy "Joanne" Whitener (James) of Jones County, Jennifer Mary Ann Schiller (Rob) of Seabeck and Tracie Elaine Taylor of Illinois. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project, or the Alzheimer's Association.
