As Trampus departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Trampus. Though Trampus may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his father Trampus Lee Shelnutt, Sr. (Susan) of Madison, Georgia.; his son Waylon Shelnutt of Eatonton, Georgia; his mother Krystle Leona Thompson Yates (Wayne) of Greensboro, Georgia; his siblings, Faith Thompson, Megan Burton (Austin), Emily Shipman (Kyle), Trey Shelnutt and Brandon Yates; and his grandmother Esther Thompson. He is also survived by six nieces, three nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McCommons Funeral Home (109 W Broad St, Greensboro, GA 30642).
