He is survived by: his wife Virginia Carolyn Saferight; his son Darrin Tad Saferight; his grandchildren, Carolyn Ashley Saferight (Michael Curry) of Cleveland, Steven Saferight (Courtney) of Byron and Kristen Saferight of Dallas, Georgia; his great grandchild Addilynn Saferight; and his half-sister Twila Johnson.
