Betty Mattox Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Betty Mattox of Eden, Georgia is shared. Betty, born on June 8, 1937, passed away on July 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olen Kitchens and Etta Mae O'Brien Beach; her husband William "Billy" Mattox Sr.; and her siblings, Kathryn Williamson, Jimmy Kitchens, L. Kitchen and Dennis Kitchens.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Smith (Solomon) of Eden, William Mattox Jr. (Lynn) of Eden and Bobby Mattox (Paige) of Pooler. She is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
In honor of Betty's compassion and in appreciation for the excellent care she received, the family kindly requests that donations be made to R.A.B.Home. Healthcare LLC in lieu of flowers.
