He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Clifford "Bill" Turner and Katie Lou Riner Mattair; his stepfather Wade Mattair; his siblings, William "Kenny" Turner and Ann Hallisey; his stepdaughter Michelle Holton; and his stepsister Susan Beasley.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kuhns Turner; his children, Gena Turner Ramage (Eric), Claude E. Turner Jr. and Chad E. Turner Sr.; his stepsons, Charles Mingledorff and Brian Mingledorff; his sister Ginger Kitson; and his stepsister Lynn Mattair. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, his family and he was known as the best husband and grandfather.
