He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Clayton and Luella K. Zimmer Beitzel; and his wife Janet Jenkins Beitzel. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Miller (Alden), Heather Mewborn (Brooks), Mark Beitzel (Laura) and Lisa Black Smyth; his siblings, Joanne Taylor (Harry) and Don Beitzel (Sue); his grandchildren, Hollie Deer, Preston Mewborn (Alexa), Peyton Mewborn, Pearce Mewborn, Kendall, Logan Beitzel, Clayton, Bridger Black and Shannon Smyth; and his great grandchildren, Austin Deer, Isaiah Deer (Dallas) and Ethan Deer.
