She was predeceased by: her spouse William'Doyle'Kay; her parents, Albert Tate Vaughter and Gussie Cornelia Maxwell Vaughter; her daughter Bonnie Gaye Kay; and her siblings, Richard Vaughter, Alan Vaughter, Bette Ann Vaughter and Robert Vaughter.
She is survived by: her son William Bryan; her daughter-in-law Dorothy Kay of Elberton; her sister Susan Jordan; and her grandchildren, Brandy Kurtz, Jonathan Kay, Amber Lollis and Joshua Jackson. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Berry Funeral Home (1265 Washington Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
