She was predeceased by: her husband Walton Atherton "Salt" Haynes; her parents, Bummie Scarborough and Willamette Brown Scarborough; her grandson Derek Haynes; and her siblings, Eugene Scarborough, Ann Smith and Morris Scarborough.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Haynes of Elberton and Trena Haynes of Elberton; her grandson Erik Haynes of Gainesville; and her brother Cecil (Mary Scarborough). She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
