He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Heard and Lucile Bailey Heard. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Berryman Heard; his close friend Frankie; his children, Emery Heard of Comer and Natalie Shelton (Wayne) of LaGrange; his granddaughters, Emma Kate Puckett (Drew) of Laguna Beach, Caroline Shelton of LaGrange and Jaiden Heard (Jacob Byerts) of Clemson, S. C.; and his siblings, Joe Heard (Audrey) of Anderson, S. C., Danny Heard (Gail) of Rayle and Sylvia Davis (Clyde) of Tignall. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
