He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Rufus Lovinggood and Lenora Higginbotham Lovinggood; his sons, Greg Lovinggood and Darrell Lovinggood; his grandson Jarrod Scales; and his siblings, Morris, James, Hobson, Becky, Eunice and Sue.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Faye Evans Lovinggood; his daughters, Wanda Gabriel, Amy McDowell, Stacey Black, Sonja Crowe and Sheila Freeland; and his grandchildren, Jason, Aaron, Abbey, Caleigh, Rylan and Piper.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Berry Funeral Home (1265 Washington Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
