She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Carlis Ray and Opal Partain Ray; her husband Francis Alton "Poopup" Wilhite; her son David Shawn Wilhite; her granddaughter Misti Hobbs; and her siblings, Gordon Fletcher Ray and Gloria Jane Adams.
She is survived by: her children, India Wilhite of Elberton, Ren Wilhite (Rita) of Elberton and Kyria Wilhite of Elberton; and her grandchildren, Candice Hobbs, Jessica Finley, Ashley Paul (Dericus) and Ryan Wilhite (Kayla). She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
