He was predeceased by: his father Cullen Evans; and his grandson Jeremy Daniel Evans. He is survived by: his wife Jan Whitfield Evans; his children, Jason Evans (Cortney), Jeremy Evans (Carol Norman), Joshua Evans (Toni), Jill Evans Jewell and Justin Howe (Neal Dover); his sister Sandra Marie (William) Ehrig (late Bob Stahl); and his grandchildren, Makenzie, Gracen, Ellorie, Ezree, Bryce, Brenley, Jaxson, Kasen, Makaylin, Maddie, Savannah and Lylah.
A graveside service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Elmhurst Cemetery (400 N Oliver St, Elberton, GA 30635).
