It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Louise Kidd Dixon (Elberton, Georgia), born in Bowman, Georgia, who passed away on April 5, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Horace "Jimmy" Dixon; her parents, Dewey Talmadge Kidd and Mae Bell Moon Kidd; and her brothers, Hugh Talmadge Kidd and Robert Donald Kidd, Sr. (Jane Marie Ashworth Kidd).
She is survived by: her caregiver Roger Kidd of Bowman; her sister Martha; and her brother-in-law Wayne Teasley of Bowman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
