She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Vickery and Lillie Mae Adams Vickery; her husband Claudie James "Shorty" Rice; and her children, Stanley Rice and Beth Brown.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Jefferson (Butch), Randall Rice, Cindy King (Kent), Clay Rice (Dana) and Travis Rice (Kim); and her siblings, Carol Moon, Amanda Cantrell (Billy Ray), Ronald Vickery (Trudy), Donald Vickery (Delores) and Joyce Dickerson.
