We announce the death of James Larry Wilson of Elberton, Georgia, born in Hayesville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 27, 2026, at the age of 88. James Larry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Darla Arlene Jackson Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Jeanne, Bill Harrison of Cedar Grove, NC, Kathy, Ronny Turner of Elberton, GA, Kristi and Tony Burden of Elberton, GA; his grandchildren, Ronald Turner, Ryan, Abbey Turner, Lauren Lamb, Sarah Gay, Erica Burden and Rae Harrison; and his great grandchildren, Kayin, Kaliyah, Cameryn, Abram and Isaiah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
