He is survived by: his close friend Elmo Wilson; his stepfather James "Burt" Pope; his siblings, Karanja Hughes and Christopher Parham; his aunts, Mae Ellen Reid, Cherie Jones, Shantaya Jones and Yolanda Jones; his great-aunts, Polly Reid and Lorene Bolden; his aunt Christine Heard; his great-aunts, Lula Johnson, Laura Mae Harper and Mozelle Hill; his uncles, Donnie Ray Jones (Angela), William Reid (Ethel), Dan Reid (Tammy) and Leon Reid (Adrian); and his great-uncle Adam Heard (Addie Ree).
