He is survived by: his wife Virginia Reaves Webb Oakley; his daughter Debbie Oakley Anderson (Mark) of Elberton; his granddaughters, Ashlie Anderson Graham (John) of Charleston, SC, Laurie Anderson Betz (Kris) of Charleston, SC and Katie Anderson Tan (Carlos) of Atlanta; his great grandchildren, Madeline, Kate, Michael, Ben, Vanessa and Nora Wade; his sisters, Betty Jo Butler of Elberton and Judy McCannon of Elberton; his sisters-in-law, Hilna Bond of Elberton and Nancy Webb of Cartersville; and his caregivers, Kelley Skelton, Kathi Vaughn, Courtney Germany of Bristol Hospice and Beth Skinner.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Berry Funeral Home (1265 Washington Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
