He was predeceased by: his father George Marion Moon Sr.; and his brother Michael Payton. He is survived by: his aunt Lucille Haygood; his wife Amanda Moon; his mother Suzanne Moon of Elberton, Three; his brother George Moon Jr. of Hartwell, GA.; and his aunts and uncles, Donna Gabriel, Georgia "Sissie" Moon, Randy Gabriel and Thomas Moon.
