With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julie Lee Chaney (Elberton, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2026 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Julie Lee shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Julie Lee farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Aaron Hubbard and Ramona June Bell; and her sister Betty Lewis. She is survived by: her sons, Shaun Childres, Shane Childres and Lamar Childres, Jr.; her siblings, Ricky Hubbard and Penny Rutledge; and her half-siblings, Timothy Mooney and Tonya Mooney. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
