We are sad to announce that on May 20, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Linda Savinsky Moon (Elberton, Georgia). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Savinsky and Tessie Savinsky; her husband Carl Lewis Moon; and her siblings, Jean Brown and Phillip Wiliiams.

She is survived by: her sister Maureen Solano; her sons, Carl J. Moon (Leslie) and Wesley L. Moon (Julie); her granddaughter Lynzee Homan (Richard); and her great grandchildren, Zariah Wynter Smith and Zephyr Blaze Smith. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Berry Funeral Home (1265 Washington Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at the Elmhurst Cemetery (400 N Oliver St, Elberton, GA 30635).

“Lil' Carl, Wesley, and Family, So sorry to hear of Aunt Linda's passing. She was the most loving, kind, compassionate person in our family. Outside of Grandma. Aunt Linda was always my favorite. I have such fond memories of visiting when I was little. She always had the best snacks and goodies. My favorite part was her crazy exercise machines. She would let me try them all. The best was the vibrating belt that you wrapped around you. She would let me shake till I was sick. Laura”
