We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2025, at the age of 76, Lora Lynn Dixon Jones (Elberton, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Lee Jones; her parents, Jim Henry Dixon and Lorena Hammond Dixon; her siblings, Syretha, Grady "Bud" Cline, Jimmy and Doris Dixon; and her stepson David Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Shannon Johnson, Kim Jarski of Suwanee, Jamie and Jason Keblish of Elberton; her stepson Ronnie (Joye Jones); her sister Gail Dixon of Elberton; and her grandchildren, Kyle, Amanda Jones, Jimmy Jones, Jessica Jones, Nick Schlager, Ashley Johnson, Amanda Johnson, Charlee, Abel Leal, Jake Keblish and Lina Keblish. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Berry Funeral Home (1265 Washington Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Flowers are accepted, and contributions may be made in her memory to Nancy Hart Nursing Center, 2117 Dr. George Ward Road, Elberton, GA 30635.
