She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Washington Wilson and Helen Rudell Chastain Wilson; her husband Roy Gene Powers; and her siblings, Sammy Wilson and Mamie Weaver.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Marie Ehrig (Bob), Bruce Evans (Jan), Vanessa Sandifer of Shady Spring, W. VA and Rhonda Crook of Oxford, GA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elmhurst Cemetery (400 N Oliver St, Elberton, GA 30635). A reception will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM.
