He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Lee Black, Sr. and Thora Cannon Black. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Elaine Turman Black; his sons, Brandon Black (Len) and Wesley Black (Mindy); his grandchildren, Brett, Hunter, Leannda, Walker, Cole-Jett and Kayleigh; his great grandchild Canler; and his siblings, William Black (Lucy), Steve Black (Joyce), Madonna Williams (Lamar) and Lisa Black. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home (1 Berry Lane, ELBERTON, GA 30635). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Flowers are accepted and contributions may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, T.J. & Friends Foundation, or Wounded Warriors.
