He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Howell Thompson; his sons, Ben (Keri Thompson) and Nick Thompson; his mother Valerie Ruff Thompson; his grandchildren, Colby, Jake and Lily; his sister Deborah; and his siblings-in-law, Lee Edwards, Ronald Phillips and Sherri Howell Caldwell. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
