With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ola Blackwell Heard (Elberton, Georgia), who passed away on September 6, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Blackwell and Mary Rucker Blackwell; her husband Johnny Heard; and her grandson Baby Temarcus Heard. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Ann; her son-in-law Stanley Heard; her stepdaughter Patricia; her grandchildren, Quasher Heard, Ashley Heard and Stantavis Heard; her great grandchildren, DyQuavion Bryant, Arihanna Alston, Michael Alston, III, Mikerrious Alston and Mikese Alston; her stepgrandson Joshua Mahoney; and her stepgreat-grandson Tyler Mahoney. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
