He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. Ward and Martha Jeannette Chandler Ward; and his wife Charlotte Ann Fuller. He is survived by: his children, Robert, Kaitlin Ward of Marietta, GA, Heather and Clint Morgan of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Grace, Andrew, Noah and Ethan; and his sisters, Elaine (Chuck Hewatt) and Michelle (Daniel Kelley). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends, and extended relatives.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Rock Branch Baptist Church (2150 Coldwater Rd, Elberton, GA 30635).
