We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2024, at the age of 89, Roy Gene Powers of Elberton, Georgia, born in Cleveland, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roy Gene Powers to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Wayne Powers and Katherine Powers. He is survived by : his wife Marlene Marie Wilson Powers; and his children, Sandra Marie Ehrig of Elberton, GA, Bruce Evans of Elberton, GA, Vanessa Sandifer of Shady Spring and Rhonda Crook of Oxford, GA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Elmhurst Cemetery (400 N Oliver St, Elberton, GA 30635). A reception was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM.
