It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Mason (Elberton, Georgia), who passed away on April 2, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Boman and Neiter Cupp Mason; his wife Mary Frances Payne Mason; his children, Michael Fields, Pam Fields and Nancy Fields; and his siblings, Luther Roland Mason (Sara) and Sylvia Mason.
He is survived by: his siblings, Alice Barber and Earl Ray Mason (Teresa); and his grandchildren, Tiffany Bearden (Greg), Kevin Fields (Lynn), Eric Fields, Rhonda Rice (Phil), James Smith and Shane Lunsford (Megan). He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren.
