He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Shook and Clara Shook (Galloway); his wife Janice "Janie" Shook; his son Michael; and his brothers, Edwin, Doyle, Dawes, Jerry and Paul.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Renta (Dane), Jennifer Weever, Chris Shook, Johnny Pattillo (Kristy) and Greg Shook; his siblings, Kimsey Shook (Deborah) and Rowena; his grandchildren, Charles Pierson (Desiree), Kristen Lewis, Diego Alcantar, Kody Alcantar (Angelica), Fidel Alcantar Jr., Courtney Pattillo, Savannah Pattillo and Kaycee Pattillo; and his great grandchildren, Damian, Liliana, Kaytlin, Jayda, Wayne, Riley, Saige, Lance and Athena. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
