Ruth Hayes McCullough Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Hayes McCullough of Elberton, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 27, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Hayes McCullough to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Effie Hayes Brown and Evoid Brown; her daughter Cindy McCullough; her grandson Adam Branyon; and the father of her children Kenneth McCullough.
She is survived by: her children, David McCullough (Sheila) of Hartwell, Debra Branyon of Pelzer, Kim McCullough of Elberton and Missy McCullough Moon of Elberton; her grandchildren, Jeff McCullough (Angie), Kevin McCullough (Lori), Candice Armstrong, Doug Coker (Hannah), Kayla Black (David) and Celeste Moon (Kyle Dillinder); her sister Dianne Tucker (Doug) of Greenwood, SC; and her nieces, Kerri Powell (JD) and Anna Marie Juarez (Richard). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Berry Funeral Home (1265 Washington Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Flowers are accepted and contributions may be made in her memory to Salvation Army or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
