Sara Kendall Wilson Obituary

Sara Kendall Wilson (92) passed away on May 15th at Magnolia Estates after a brief illness.

She was a graduate of Wesleyan College with a Music Education degree. She recertified years later for Elementary Education and taught in the Elbert County Public Schools for many years. If former students remember her it is probably because she required the memorization of poetry as well as the Gettysburg Address in many of her classes.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Malcolm Wilson.

She is survived by her only child, Deborah Kendall and her ex-husband Dr Bob Kendall.

My mother loved learning so she was a prolific reader. Both of these traits stayed with her throughout her life. If you knew her and you wish to do something in her memory, read a book, or an article – use your mind to learn something new.
