She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Harold and Louise Haines Dillard; her husband John Cabell Ethridge, Sr.; her son Glenn Ethridge; her grandson Andrew Ethridge; her siblings, Louise McMillan and Henry Dillard; and her siblings-in-law, Doris Dillard and Lex McMillan.
She is survived by: her son John Cabell Ethridge, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Cindy; her daughter Kathy Jossey; her children-in-law, Paul "Joe" Jossey and Cathy Ethridge; her grandchildren, Lee Ethridge, Brian Jossey, Scott Nicholson (Chase), Laurie Truitt (Craig), Kathryn Henderson (Nathan) and Jessica Chicken (Ron); her great grandchildren, Max Truitt, James Truitt, Chandler Truitt, Lillie Chicken, Ridge Chicken, Marshall Henderson and Ellen Henderson; her brother John S. Dillard; her sisters-in-law, Helene and Naomi Dillard; and her extended family Greg McFarling (family: Aaron Biddle, Bob Schell).
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Elberton First Methodist Church (132 E Church St, Elberton, GA 30635).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Elberton First Baptist Church ramp ministry, Grace United Methodist Church, or Elberton First Methodist Church.
