He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Edison Newman and Erva Lee Futch Newman; and his siblings, Andy Newman, Paul Newman, Steve Newman, Evon Futch and Ranee Kicklighter.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bobby Newman of Ellabell, Billie Jean DeMine of Pembroke, Mary Alice Taylor of Nicholls, GA and Mona Waters of Nicholls, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
