He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Nettles and Ruth Lewis Nettles; and his siblings, Hewlyn Nettles and Patsy Woods. He is survived by: his wife Linda McBride Nettles; his children, Linda Anne Nettles Sibilio (Rudy), Randalyn Nettles Sessoms and Kelly McBride Nettles; his grandchildren, Joshua Sibilio, Alexander Nettles, Adrieana Batt (Colin), Page Brandt Sessoms, Jr. and Cassidy Sessoms (Malcolm); and his brother Earl C. Nettles. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Homes – West Chatham Chapel (901 US-80, Pooler, GA 31322). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
