It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie D. Stevens of Ellaville, Georgia, born in Macon, Georgia, who passed away on June 13, 2022, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, A. C. Stevens and Glenda Kennedy Stevens; and her stepfather Billy "Daddy Bill" Schafer. She is survived by : her children, Ciji Cox (Michael) of Ideal, Bobby Avery (Stephanie) of Ellaville and Vicki Teele (Lance) of Ellaville; her sisters, Donna Miller of Scottsdale, AZ and Lora Roberts of Montezuma, GA; her grandchildren, Wade Cox, Andrew Cox, Bobby Avery, Jr., Tuck Teele, Bentley Avery, Ellie Mae Teele, Cole Avery and Rhett Teele; her nephew Ben Miller (Ashley) of Pitts, GA; and her close friend Beverly Robbins (Ricky) of Montezuma.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Phoebe-Sumter Foundation, Oncology & Hematology or Phoebe-Sumter Hospice, 126 Highway 280 West, Americus, GA 31719.
