He was predeceased by: his father Michael Barry, Sr.; and his grandparents, Charles Frank, Eddis Landon, Rufus E. and Colleen Pye.
He is survived by: his mother Tina Landon Pye; his stepfather Matt Murphy of Ellaville; his siblings, Amanda Hoyle (Jeff) of Odum, GA, Michael Pye, Jr. (Jamie) of Jesup, GA, Betsy Pye Avellaneda (Daniel) of Vidalia, GA, Renee Wainwright (Sidney) of Americus, GA and Russell Murphy (Liz) of Leslie, GA; and his uncle Jerry Landon (Judy) of Jesup, GA. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Way-Watson Funeral Home-Ellaville (28 Oglethorpe St, Ellaville, GA 31806). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Way-Watson Funeral Home (28 Oglethorpe St, Ellaville, GA 31806).
