She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Thompson Curry Sr. and Marion Marijean Curry; and her husband Edgar Turner Dowling, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Edgar Turner Dowling Jr., Harold I. Dowling (Debra) and Matthew C. Dowling (Nancy); her brother Leonard Thompson Curry (Geannie); her goddaughter Vicki Wright (Brad); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Fauquenot (Benjamin), Edgar T. Dowling III (Ashton), Kailey A. Washington (Jason), Amanda J. Dowling, Larissa A. Dowling, Tiffany N. Downing (Mark) and Ralph A. Garcia (Susanna). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; and all the children.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Draneville-Union Church. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
