He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Bell Strange and Annie Gertrude Burt Strange. He is survived by: his wife Careen Strange of Ellaville, GA; and his sons, Burt Strange, Jr. (Sarah) of Milton, GA, Adam Strange (Kellie) of Atlanta, GA, Jed Strange of Atlanta, GA, Clint Strange (Helen) of Macon, GA and Josh Strange (Jenny) of Ellaville, GA. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Strange Farms (300 Mount Zion Rd, Ellaville, GA 31806).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Andrew Chapel Church in Ellaville, Georgia.
