It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas E. Barnes of Ellaville, Georgia, who passed away on June 4, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Samuel Thomas "S. T." Barnes and Buena Hagin Barnes; and his sister Patricia Bolden. He is survived by : his sons, Britton Hagin Barnes and William "Bo" Heidt Barnes; his grandchildren, Baylee, Kayla, Brandon, Mason, Lauren and Chance; and his great grandchildren, Kayson and McKenna. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their beautiful children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Thomas E. Barnes Memorial Fund for Youth Track and Field programs at Ameris Bank in Ellaville, c/o Jennifer Jackson, 229-937-1131.
