With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Douglas Willard Harris of Ellenwood, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025 at the age of 53. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Willard, Edith Harris, Gladys and Daniel Harris. He is survived by: his parents, Douglas Warren Harris and Louella Harris Williams; his wife Tysole Freeman Harris; his children, Terah Nicole, Douglas Ali and Toryn Nicole; and his sisters, Nena Gilreath Lucas, Waverly of College Park, Georgia, Hope Gilreath Carter (Allen) of Jonesville and Teia Harris Weldon (Dexter) of Kennesaw, Georgia.. He is also survived by extended family, students, teammates, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Beulah Presbyterian Church (110 Sparta Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:30 PM to 12:45 AM at the same location.
