As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Neil may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Gillis and Walter Gillis Jr.; and his brother Scott Gillis. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Gillis; his children, Debra Mitchell (Rick) and Andrea Cochran (Mitch); and his grandchildren, Chris Gillis (Rosaria), Ashtyn Hutchins (Stephan), Wade Wilson (Jordan), Gillis Davis (Nathan), Patrice Willingham (Josh) and Tyndal Mitchell. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
