It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Cleola Barnes of Ellijay, Georgia, who passed away on May 23, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleve Akinson and Lillie Elanor Barnes (Corbin). She is survived by: her sister Ollie Barnes Sales of Acworth, GA; and her sister-in-law Helen James Barnes of Ellijay, GA.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Flowers are being accepted or donations can be made to the Tails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery fund in memory of Bernice Barnes c/o Tracy Abercrombie.
