Betty Louise Carter Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Louise Carter of Ellijay, Georgia, who passed away on September 6, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Paul Carter and Rebecca Dunn Carter; and her siblings, Edith Duckett, Johnnie Faye Carter, Shadia Carter Fendley and Bobby Jean Carter.

She is survived by: her daughter Janice; her son-in-law Michael George; her siblings, Bill Carter, Juanita Slaughter and Wyonette May; her grandchildren, Autumn Sanchez and Brooke Curtis; and her great grandchildren, Dawson Hawkins, Kaidance Allen, Lukas Allen, Mayabella Sanchez and Ezequiel Sanchez.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
