We announce the death of Billy Wayne DeFoor of Ellijay, Georgia, who passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 83. Billy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Billy’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford DeFoor and Emily DeFoor. He is survived by: his children, Victoria Joanna DeFoor of Westminister, Maryland and Dirk William DeFoor of Taney Town, Maryland; and his brother Wendell DeFoor of Ellijay. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion (357 Dalton St, Ellijay, GA 30540).
