He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Franklin Tipton and Clara Eaton Tipton; and his sister Patricia "Pat" Boring. He is survived by: his brothers, James Tipton (Rhonda) of Ellijay, GA and David Tipton (Vickie) of Ellijay, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
