She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Nathaniel Sumner and Eunice Jewell Sumner (Plemons); her husband Ray Hyde; her brothers, Charles, Herbert and Jim Sumner; her sisters-in-law, Juanita, Inez and Grace Sumner; and her son-in-law Wayne Sales.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Sales; her grandchildren, Scott Sales (Melissa), Brenda Wimpey and Dr. Terry Wimpey; her great grandchildren, Mati Teague and Hunter Wimpey; her sister Dorothy; and her brother-in-law Mack Logan. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to the Mountaintown Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or to the Nine Mile Cemetery Fund, in care of Sandra Sales, 55 Sanford Lane, Ellijay, GA 30540, in memory of Mrs. Hyde.
