He was predeceased by: his parents, Turner Baker and Cannie Weaver Baker; and his siblings, Wayne Baker, Earl Baker, Robert Baker, Mack Baker, Lois Baker Chastain and Lemma Baker Walker.

He is survived by: his sister Susan Gaddis. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
