He was predeceased by: his parents, J. R. Banks and Gladys Banks (Wheeler); and his brother Jerry Banks. He is survived by: his sister Kathy; his brother-in-law Larry Rice of Ellijay; his brother David; and his sister-in-law Loreen Banks.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Logan Funeral Home (357 Dalton St, Ellijay, GA 30540). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel (357 Dalton St, Ellijay, GA 30540).
