We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2022, at the age of 81, Doris Smith Stephens (Ellijay, Georgia), born in Hardeeville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Smith and Neta Smith; her husband James Stephens; and her brother JC Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Denise Griggs (Maynard) of Ellijay; her granddaughter Reagan Pritchett (Kevin) of Ellijay; and her niece Loraine Phillips of Bloomingdale.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Gilmer County Animal Shelter in Ellijay.
